One of our favourite drives is to Pissouri Bay which you can see on the photograph taken from the View Point. There is a wide range of bars and tavernas in the Bay that serve great Mezes. The beach stretches for miles and is usually very quiet.
Driving from the Paphos direction, Pissouri Bay can be reached by the A6 motorway or by the B6 scenic route. Stopping of at Aphrodite’s Birth Place on the way for that special souvenir photograph is a must!
After taking in the view of the Bay from the View Point and having enjoyed the delights of the tavernas and beach, a drive to the nearby Pissouri Village is the next stage of the drive. The Village is easily reached by taking the road from the roundabout in the Bay.
At the Village you will find the amphitheatre where open air concerts and displays are held. The Village Square boasts of more tavernas where on certain nights they hold a ‘Cyprus Night’ with traditional dancing and music. This is a great way to round of the drive to Pissouri Bay!
